Dual Program Acupuncture

Combining the Best of Eastern and Western Medicine

The AMCH/PIHMA Dual Program combines the best of Eastern and Western Medicine.  AMCH and PIHMA have developed a partnership whereby students can complete both programs simultaneously or in a modified format, extending one’s studies up to an additional two years. This program is the first of its kind in the country and combines the best of both eastern and western forms of alternative medicine. Graduates will develop mastery in both Oriental and Homeopathic forms of medicine and will be fully prepared for the complexities of practice in both disciplines.  Both PIHMA and AMCH are nationally renowned for their standards of excellence and innovation in healthcare.  Applicants must apply separately to AMCH and to PIHMA

PIHMA is the valley’s only accredited Oriental Medical & Acupuncture College.  PIHMA offers a flexible weekend/evening course schedule and a variety of clinical shifts during the week.

Discover Homeopathic Medicine at AMCH

Homeopathic Practitioner Program classes start in February of each year.
This program is offered in both a real time synchronous online format
and in a classroom format. Online students interact live with the instructor during class. The program is a three year part-time program that encompasses 1203 clock hours.  Students attend an average of two weekends per month over three years. This program is specifically designed for both non-licensed and licensed health care professionals to practice classical homeopathy.

The Homeopathic Practitioner Program provides a solid preparation for the professional practice of homeopathic medicine. It is based on a firm academic and practical foundation using the fundamental principles and philosophy of homeopathic medicine.  The curriculum is designed to enable students to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet the educational learning objectives of the program and the career in which they are being prepared for. Clinical training is integrated fully into the program and includes extensive participation in the AMCH clinics, mentorship as well as supervision. Development of business and marketing skills is also an important part of the program.
Professionalism and humanism are the hallmarks of the programs as they are designed to foster the sense of students as members of a learning community and members of the homeopathic profession.
